How to use your Hotel Credit

1. Book through American Express Travel Choose an eligible prepaid Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection stay through Amex Travel.

2. Pay with your Platinum Card Use your eligible American Express Platinum Card for the prepaid booking.

3. Complete an eligible booking Fine Hotels + Resorts bookings qualify without a minimum stay. The Hotel Collection requires a minimum stay of two consecutive nights.

4. Get the statement credit American Express will automatically apply statement credits for eligible prepaid bookings, up to the amount available in the current six-month period.

What you get

• Up to $300 from January through June
• Up to $300 from July through December
• Up to $600 total per calendar year
• Eligible for both Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection bookings

Good to know

• No enrollment is required.
• Bookings must be prepaid through American Express Travel.
• Fine Hotels + Resorts bookings do not require a minimum stay.
• The Hotel Collection requires a minimum two-night stay.
• Pay Later or Pay at Hotel bookings do not qualify.
• Each $300 allowance is tied to its six-month period and unused value does not roll over.
