How to use your Airline Fee Credit

  1. Choose your airline Select one qualifying airline in your American Express account before using the benefit.

  2. Pay eligible incidental fees Use your Platinum Card for qualifying charges such as checked baggage fees, seat assignment fees, or other eligible airline incidentals.

  3. Use the selected airline The charge must be with the airline you selected for the benefit.

  4. Get the statement credit American Express will automatically apply statement credits for eligible charges, up to your annual allowance.
