How to use your Avis/Budget Travel Credit

1. Book through United Book an eligible Avis or Budget rental directly through cars.united.com.

2. Book a qualifying rental The reservation must be for at least two days at a participating Avis or Budget location.

3. Include your MileagePlus number Make sure the Primary Cardmember's MileagePlus number is included in the reservation and an eligible Avis or Budget discount code is applied.

4. Pay with your United Explorer Card Use your United Explorer Card for the qualifying rental.

5. Receive United TravelBank cash After the rental is completed, United will add $25 in TravelBank cash to your MileagePlus account for each of your first two eligible rentals during the anniversary year.

What you get

• $25 in United TravelBank cash after your first eligible rental
• Another $25 in TravelBank cash after your second eligible rental
• Up to $50 total per account anniversary year

Good to know

• The rental must be booked directly through cars.united.com.
• The reservation must be for at least 2 days.
• The Primary Cardmember's MileagePlus number must be included in the reservation.
• An eligible Avis or Budget discount code must be applied.
• TravelBank cash generally posts within 6–8 weeks after the rental return.
• The benefit is based on your account anniversary year, not the calendar year.
• TravelBank cash posts to your MileagePlus account and does not appear as a credit on your card statement.
• UseIt tracks your two annual rental credits separately.
