How to earn your Delta Flight Credit

1. Spend $10,000 in a calendar year Make at least $10,000 in eligible purchases on your Delta SkyMiles Gold American Express Card between January 1 and December 31.

2. Eligible Additional Card purchases can count Qualifying purchases made by Additional Card Members also contribute toward the spending requirement.

3. Receive your $200 Delta eCredit After you meet the $10,000 spending requirement, Delta will issue a $200 eCredit to the Basic Card Member's SkyMiles account.

4. Use it toward future Delta travel Apply the eCredit toward an eligible Delta-marketed flight booked through delta.com or Delta Reservations.

What you get

• Can be used toward eligible Delta-marketed airfare

Good to know

• The spending requirement resets each calendar year.
• Eligible purchases by Additional Card Members can count toward the threshold.
• The eCredit is issued to the Basic Card Member.
• Delta says the credit is generally issued within 6–8 weeks after you meet the spending requirement.
• The credit expires one year from the date it is issued.
• It can be used for airfare, including applicable fare, surcharges, taxes and fees.
• It cannot be used for bag fees, change fees, upgrades or other ancillary Delta charges.
• If your flight costs less than $200, the remaining eCredit value can be used later before it expires.
